How can I participate in the Online Auction?
1. LOGIN: In order to participate in the TCA’s Online Auction, you will need to create a username and password. You can do this by clicking on TCA’s Patriot Horse icon in the top right corner of TCA’s website: www.tcasarasota.com.
Can I bid on an item anonymously?
2. USER NAME: When creating a User Name/ID, you can choose to put your name or an alias/non-descriptive name or code for yourself. Each auction item has an “Auction History” so you can see who you are bidding against similarly to eBay’s platform.
How does bidding work?
3. BIDDING: Auction items will be available for bid starting September 8th-13th. Items that are available to bid on will say Bid Now. Once you place your bid, an email will be sent to you.
4. BUY NOW: Some auction items will ONLY be available at the Paradise Found Gala, however, there will be a Buy Now option for those passionate about the item. If you choose to BUY NOW, you will immediately win the item.
How do I purchase an auction item(s)?
5. WINNING: Congratulations on winning your item(s)! An email will be sent to you after you have won and buyers have 24 hours to complete their purchase. If you do not complete your purchase or your payment fails, the auction item will go to the next highest bidder.
What form of payment do you accept?
6. PAYMENT: TCA accepts all major credit cards through our secure payment gateway. For ease of payment, save your credit card information in your account. Your card information is completely secure and verified by our payment gateway provider Authorize.net.
