TCA Pentathlon

The Classical Academy Academic Pentathlon Team

The National Academic Pentathlon is a five-event scholastic competition for middle school students from across the country.   The students compete in five rigorous academic categories: literature, math, fine arts, science and history and  they also write an essay based on an historic novel that every student reads.

We are thrilled to announce that in TCA’s first year, the Classical Academy has placed 6th in the nation in the Regional competition.  To achieve that ranking, many of our students have garnered top ten places in each of the subject areas.  We have qualified to compete in the National Finals which are being held in Garden Grove, California this year in May.

Our competitors are Lilibeth H, Mae H, Gianna L, Ben L, Gabe M, Giulietta M, Claire C, John C, Brenna F, Alexis S, Byron S, Emma W,  Sarah R, Emmett Z, and Laughlin G.

Students compete both as a team and also as individuals.

In order to support our Pentathlon Team, we have created a donation link for you to support our students. We are looking to raise $15,000 for our competition this year that will cover our students flights, hotel stay, meals, and transportation. We thank you for any donation you can make for our students!
