12th Grade College Counseling Information Session
Wednesday, August 31st | 6:30 PM – 7:30 PM | The Shire

TCA Director of College Counseling, Mr. Joseph Runge, requests the presence of all senior students and parents for a one-hour presentation on the details of the 2022-23 college counseling/undergraduate admissions process. Within reason, please consider attendance mandatory so we all get on the same page and understand what lies ahead! It’s an exciting time for your children!

Time: 6:30pm-7:30pm

Location: The Shire (9100 Fruitville Rd.)

This presentation will include the following informative topics to ensure the class of 2023 applies to college and/or identifies an alternative path after graduation:

• How do we approach college counseling and the undergraduate admissions process at TCA?
• What do colleges value during the application process?
• How do colleges evaluate applications during the review process?
• How do we deliver college applications? What do you send? What does Mr. Runge send? What does the school send? How does it all come together?
• Financial aid process and securing possible merit scholarships
• Discuss varying post-secondary school options for those thinking of alternatives to undergraduate study.

Although this can be an anxious time for students and families, college counseling is here to help minimize the “stress” effect. You will get through this!
